As an employee at Kolmården, you have one of the lead roles in a magical performance! The park is your stage, the guests are your eager audience, and together with your colleagues, you help create unforgettable experiences and enchanting memories for over half a million children and adults each year.

We are now looking for new stars for our various positions for the 2025 season and are searching for those who thrive in the spotlight, are passionate about guest interactions, and always want to exceed our guests' expectations.

At Kolmården, you can work as an attraction host, shop and game host, park food host, entrance host, park caretaker, and warehouse worker & costume storage host.

Useful information about our positions

The positions are seasonal employment and run from April 12 to September 21, with varying start and end dates.

Some positions run throughout the entire season, while others only during peak season. Working hours vary depending on low or high season and are adapted to the park's opening hours, with shifts scheduled during the day, evenings, and weekends. The collective agreement for all positions is the Hotel and Restaurant Agreement. We do not offer staff accommodations.

During the summer months when many others are on vacation, we have the most guests with us, so we expect that you who are applying both want and can work during these months. You should be able to communicate in Swedish. To thrive with us, regardless of the position, you also need to have basic knowledge of English, both to speak and understand, in order to deliver world-class service to our international guests.

When the summer months are over and darkness falls, Kolmården offers a unique experience for guests during our cozy and spooky Halloween season and enchanting Story Christmas, where there is an opportunity for extension from the summer season.

Kolmården is the largest zoo in the Nordic countries and one of Sweden's most popular destinations. Kolmården has about 50 different animal species and runs a number of research and conservation projects. The zoo serves as an educational resource for schools in Sweden and is a member of the Swedish Zoo Association and international industry organizations EAZA, WAZA, and IUCN. Each year, the park and the Wilderness Hotel together employ over 1,200 people for all of Kolmården's seasons and are visited by about 750,000 guests.
